Elephants are stupid, but they have a very good ability to remember. This is Elephant Tic Tac Toe, and it’s very stupid! It is so stupid that it doesn’t know that it lost until it’s told so (the computer tells it that it lost after it did). Then it will remember the move that made it lose, and it will avoid losing again.
Be patient when playing this game. It takes a while before it knows to avoid all moves that lead it to a loss. Also, remember that Elephant Tic Tac Toe does not have the desire to win. It only wants to block you from winning.
Finally, there is a pattern to the way Elephant Tic Tac Toe finds the way to block you. You might exploit that when you find yourself out of winning moves.
Oh! If Elephant Tic Tac Toe begins to repeat the same steps that lead it to loss, it just means that it’s looking for something in the past that made it lose. So keep on playing!
